Let's talktrade goods or services for recognition

If you can provide something the show needs, we can trade recognition for it. Catering, printing, materials, photography, lumber, lighting, storage, and props have all come up.

What you get

Everything included at this level.

  • Recognition at a matching tier based on the fair value of what you provide
  • The same placements as a cash sponsor at whatever level your contribution lines up with
  • A cash-free way in if your business has capacity or inventory but not a spare marketing budget
  • A real credit in the playbill naming exactly what you provided, which reads better than a logo alone

Who this is for

Is this the right fit?

Printers, caterers, photographers, builders, rental companies, and anyone whose product is easier to give than cash. If you have ever wanted to sponsor something but flinched at the invoice, start here.

How it works
  1. Tell us what you can provide and roughly what it is worth.
  2. We agree on the matching tier and put it in writing.
  3. You deliver the goods or services on the agreed schedule.
  4. You get every placement that tier includes.
Questions

Before you commit.

How do you value what I provide?

At what you would normally charge a customer for it. We are not trying to talk you down, and we will not inflate it either.

Is an in-kind contribution tax deductible?

No. This is a trade for advertising with a for-profit company, not a donation to a charity. Your accountant will treat it differently than a gift, so check with them.

Can I do part cash and part in-kind?

Yes, and that is often the cleanest way to reach a higher tier.

Sponsorships are advertising purchased from East Idaho Media Company LLC, a for-profit business. They are not donations and they are not tax deductible. Rexburg Community Theatre is our nonprofit production partner and keeps the ticket revenue from the show.
